We asked him questions about the development of SolSpecters.
INTRODUCTION
Q~ Thanks for joining us today, could you introduce yourself and the team background to our community firstly ?
A~ Hello everyone, my name is Unknown and I’m the founder of SolSpecters. The SolSpecters team currently has a total of 6 members including developers, artists, and marketers, some of which work for major tech companies in the US!
Q~ Could you briefly introduce SolSpecters to us ?
A~ SolSpecters is a collection of 2500 NFTs on the Solana blockchain. Each NFT features one of our multiple types of Specters, each of which have adapted to their surroundings. Specters is a long term project for myself and the team which we continue to develop and improve daily.
Xiaolin : What type of Specters do you have ?
Unknown : We currently feature 18 different Specter subspecies, each of which can be seen on our website!
Q~ What are your strengths, what advantages do you have over competitors in the same niche ?
A~ Our strengths come from our teams unique background in competitive gaming, helping us truly connect with our users. Many of our team members have competed at the highest levels through multiple titles.
Our team members tech backgrounds (working for some of the largest tech companies in the world) proves our developers are incredibly skilled and knowledgeable!
Q~ What Incentives do you offer to holders of your NFTs ?
A~ We have multiple incentives planned to be implemented which can be seen on our roadmap. The incentive that will take place soon will be the implementation of our DAO which will be released at the same time as our breeding/attributes/farming drop. Most importantly though, holding a SolSpecter will give you access to the game.
Q~ Could you share the current achievements and do you plan launching any products soon, what should we look forward to in the coming year ?
A~ We plan to hold a presale for our 2nd generation specters within the next 2 months. The 2nd generation takes a unique spin on the original 18 subspecies, furthering the lore of the Specters. A majority of the 2nd generation Specters will not be for sale but will instead be gained through our breeding process.
Along with this breeding process comes the addition of attributes. In the world of Specters attributes are stats scaled 1–10 that let you know how well versed your specter is in battle. Some of our attributes at the moment include strength, health, and luck.
This update will also include our farming/staking. Users will be able to send their Specters to the Algium mines to collect Algium crystals. In return your Specter will be rewarded with our ERC20 token with the possibility of receiving a rare equipment/pet drop.
Last but not least, we plan to release the game in Q2-Q3 of next year. The game will allow users to battle vs one another for prizes!
You’ll receive pets from staking your Specters.
QUESTIONS FROM TELEGRAM
Q~ Right now I see we can only trade SolSpecters on MagicDen, do you have plans to create a marketplace in the future?
A~ Yes! We plan to have our own Specters marketplace by the end of the year allowing users to trade their Specters, equipment, and pets!
Q~ What are the requirements to partake in Specter games and can we actively partake in yield farming and staking on your platform ?
A~ Thanks for the question! The only requirement to partake in the game is to hold 1 Specter.
You will be able to actively stake your specters once staking is implemented!
Q~ Can you give us more details about the types of Specters there and what are their main features?
A~ Yes! We have 18 Specters subspecies ranging from deep sea specters to those with wings. You can see all of them on our website SolSpecters.com. Each sub species specialize in a certain attribute giving it an edge above other specters at certain tasks!
Q~ Nearly 85% of investors only focus on short-term token price instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us the motivations and benefits for investors to hold your tokens in the long term?
A~ Great question! Each generation of specter will be a tiny bit weaker than the previous generation BUT will have an additional equipment slot. This allows gen 1 Specters to always be the strongest without equipment! A gen 2 specter with rare equipment will be equal in power to a generation 1 Specter though!
Q~ You mention that we can farm our NFTs to earn rewards, can you tell us what kind of rewards we would receive through this? Explain a little more about this farming system. What benefits would it give us and How long would our NFTs be farming?
A~ Users will be able to stake their Specters to earn rewards. We have not set specific staking lengths yet but the duration of the stake will directly correlate with your chances of receiving a rare item in return. Some of these rare rewards would include our equipment and pets.
Equipment and pets can be equipped to your specters giving them stat boosts in battle!
